Director of Nursing, Sunrise Detox Toms River
Director of Nursing (DON) Kristine Hart began her career with Sunrise Detox in 2014 as a staff nurse before being promoted to Director of Nursing in 2016 after showing great compassion for her patients, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge in her craft. As DON, she is involved in every patient's treatment from admission to discharge, whether handling a crisis or the small details that can make a positive difference in patient care.
Her priority upon a patient's admission is safety and stabilization, ensuring patients are comfortable, and finally providing education for both the patient and their family on how addiction affects everyone around them. She will always support, be a resource, and advocate for this population that is often misunderstood and ignored.
