Kristi Watson
BA, Regional Service Director
Regional Service Director Kristi Lawson oversees operations at the three Sunrise Detox Centers throughout Florida. A graduate of nearby Florida Atlantic University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities. Kristi began her career in substance use treatment over a decade ago as a tech and worked her way up to counseling and supervisory positions before her current role.
Darrin Rogers
MSW, LCADC, CCS, Clinical Director, Sunrise Detox Stirling
Darrin Rogers is the Clinical Director for Sunrise Detox Center in Stirling, NJ. Rogers completed his undergraduate work at Kean University, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He went on to earn his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Darrin is a native of New Jersey and has been in the addiction field since 1999. He began his career with Sunrise Detox in 2010 as a Counselor and was promoted in 2012 to the Clinical Director position.
Brenda Flores
BA, CAP, ICADC, Counselor, Sunrise Detox Lake Worth
Brenda Flores is a 20+ year veteran working in substance use treatment. Since 2005, she has been one of our most beloved Counselors with Sunrise Detox Palm Beach. She is most known for her light-hearted spirit and commitment to each patient’s best interest and success in recovery. Her over 30 years years of personal sobriety give her incredible insight into the minds of those taking the first step in their recovery. Having been there herself, she knows the steps to continue down a path to success.
Stuart Dennen
Peer Support Specialist
Stuart Dennen has over a decade of professional experience working in substance use and mental health treatment. Being sober since 2005, he has specific compassion, empathy, and understanding of what patients are going through before, during, and after the treatment process. As an Alumni Coordinator, Stuart offers peer support, reaching out to patients following their discharge, planned or against medical advice (AMA) from Sunrise Detox, acting as a bridge from treatment back into their everyday life.
Ira Levy
National Marketing Director
Ira Levy is Sunrise Detox’s National Marketing Director, but he has been called “The Mayor of Sunrise” because of his commitment to our communities. Ira brings his knowledge, experience, and wisdom to the detox environment and always seems to be there when he’s needed. Sometimes he seems to be everywhere at once! Ira began his addiction treatment career in 1992 as a mental health technician. He was Admission Coordinator for National Recovery Institute and National Marketing Director for Focus Health Care, overseeing four hospitals in several states.
Christopher Rienas, Psychiatrist, M.D.
Psychiatrist
Dr. Christopher Rienas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as a Medical Director at Praesum Healthcare. Double board-certified in both Addiction Psychiatry and General Psychiatry, Dr. Rienas continues to elevate our programs treating substance use and mental health disorders with his deep understanding of addiction and psychiatry.
