Packing List

A normal inpatient detox at Sunrise is between five to 10 days, although it might be longer depending on the kinds of substances that are in your system. As an inpatient residential facility, we supply your standard essentials, but you’ll need to bring some personal belongings:

  • Comfortable Clothes, comfortable slippers and shoes, and outerwear
  • Personal care products
  • Something to read
  • Portable music device
  • Prescription and over-the-counter medications
  • Unopened cigarettes, E-cigarettes, vaping devices, and pods

Personal items, including shaving tools or flat irons, are approved but must be given to staff upon admittance and requested when needed. All prescriptions must be in their original packaging with the correct labels and are looked over during admissions and held in a secure area. Our skilled nursing staff will distribute proper medicines at appropriate times.

Service animals are welcome. When you intend to bring a service animal with you, you will simply need to inform us before coming and have the proper certification for each animal.
